Paramount Pictures took to twitter to release the first official trailer for Martin Scorsese’s Silence, and it looks intense.
Starring Liam Neeson, Adam Driver, and Andrew Garfield, the film Silence is based on the 1966 novel of the same name, by author Shūsaku Endō. The highly anticipated trailer arrives just over a month before the film makes it’s December 23 premiere.
The historical drama is set in the seventeenth century and follows two Portuguese Jesuit priests (Garfield, Driver) who face violence and persecution travelling to Japan to locate their mentor and cultivate Christianity.
