The fandoms collide in Crackle’s upcoming edgy television series Snatch.
You may know them from their roles on Skins, Harry Potter, Gossip Girl, Scream Queens, Doctor Who, Fear the Walking Dead and The Musketeers, but now these actors are coming together in a brand new television series.
Inspired by a real London heist, Snatch is based on Guy Ritchie’s award-winning 2000 comedic crime film of the same name. The television show centres around a group of twenty-something up-and-coming hustlers who stumble upon a truckload of stolen gold bullion. The group must learn to navigate London’s underworld as they are faced with, rogue cops, gypsy fighters, international mobsters and local villains.
Rupert Grint (Harry Potter) will both star in and serve as an executive producer for the series, which will see him play the chaotic and utterly posh, Charlie Cavendish. Alongside Grint the star-studded series will feature the acting talents of Ed Westwick (Gossip Girl), Luke Pasqualino (Skins), Dougray Scott (Fear the Walking Dead, Doctor Who), Phoebe Dynevor (The Musketeers), Lucien Laviscount (Scream Queens), Tamer Hassan (Kick-Ass), and Juliet Aubrey (The infiltrator).
Created by Alex De Rakoff and Directed by Nick Renton, the Crackle series will stay true to the setting in the original film, whilst creating a whole new world born from the original movie.
Featuring ten hour-long episodes, Snatch is set to premiere on Crackle this year.
