The Deep End is partnering with Feardemic to bring a brand new narrative horror title to the PS4. Perception is a first-person narrative horror game that takes players on a haunting journey as a blind Heroine.
You may recall back in 2015 when former BioShock and Dead Space developers announced the bold horror adventure game. Initially proposed on Kickstarter, the project overtook its goal and saw an enormous $168,041 backing. Now, it has been announced that players will be able to access the game on PS4.

The game follows Cassie, a blind heroine who uses hear crisp hearing ability and wits to discover the mysteries hidden behind an abandoned estate that haunts her dreams.
After months of research, Cassie discovers the abandoned mansion from her dreams is Echo Estate, an old manor terrorised by a ghostly presence that has tormented its inhabitants for generations. In Perception, Cassie must solve the Echo Bluff Estate’s mysteries before becoming its victim.
We are expecting some amazing things from a veteran team of developers. The game uses some interesting mechanics, such as finding your way via the tapping of a cane and using echolocation to see. The game has players avoid detection from the evil entities that haunt the manor by using ambient noises to find a place to hide or navigate objects to create a distraction.
Essentially, players take part in what is sure to be a deadly game of hide-and-seek.
A release window for Perception is yet to be revealed, so keep your ears peeled for news yet to come.
