Another Netflix star has been recruited to join the Godzilla 2 cast.
Shortly following the news that Stranger Things’ Millie Bobby Brown will be working on Godzilla: King Of Monsters, sources have revealed that Kyle Chandler who is known for his role on Netflix’s Bloodline and Friday Night Lights will also be joining the cast, taking the role of Millie Bobbie Brown’s dad.
Brown and Chandler are the only cast members confirmed for the 2019 Legendary and Warner Bros. film, with the sequel’s plot still under tight wraps.
Michael Dougherty who is known for his work on Krampus and Trick ‘r Treat will be Directing the film, as well as working alongside Max Borenstein (Minority Report, Kong: Skull Island) to pen the script.
In 2014 the Gareth Edwards’ Directed Godzilla earned 529.1 million USD at Box Office.
Originally set for release in June 2018 Godzilla: King Of Monsters was pushed back nine months. The film is now set to released on March 22, 2019.
