Netflix has released a trailer for the fraternity hazing drama Burning Sands ahead of its premiere on the platform next month.
The Netflix Original drama explores the brutality involved in fraternity pledging, by taking you on a journey through the eyes of favored pledgee Zurich, who is torn between honoring his code of silence or standing up against the violent underground practices.
Burning Sands is the Directorial Debut of Gerard McMurray, and was originally unveiled at Sundance Film Festival.
The film was written by Christine Berg and Gerard McMurray, and stars Trevor Jackson (American Crime, Criminal Minds), Alfre Woodard (Luke Cage, A Series of Unfortunate Events), Steve Harris (Minority Report), Tosin Cole (Star Wars: The Force Awakens), DeRon Horton (Dear White People, Lethal Weapon) and Trevante Rhode (Moonlight, Westworld).
Burning Sands will be available to stream worldwide on Netflix on March 10, 2017.
