BBC has released a new teaser trailer for Doctor Who season ten.
The new teaser takes us on a journey into a mysterious library alongside trio, Peter Capaldi‘s Doctor, newest companion Bill Potts played by Pearl Mackie, and Matt Lucus‘ Nardole.
Narrated by Potts the trailer hints at what is to come.
“The first time you meet him, he’s funny. The second time, he’s amazing. The third time you realise he’s the most dangerous man in the universe,” says Potts. “He says he’s a man of peace, but he walks in war. I’m having the time of my life, and I wouldn’t miss it for the world, even if it kills me.”
The trailer gives a sneak peak at some of the monsters in store for the tenth season, which may spell danger for the trio. While Pott’s mention of death may be hyperbole, it is worth noting that Mackie is said to have only signed on for a one-year contract.
Doctor Who season ten will not only be Peter Capaldi’s last hurrah as The Doctor, it will be Stephen Moffat’s last year as Showrunner. Bearing this in mind, we are expecting season ten to go out with a bang. It certainly seems as if a war is brewing.
Doctor Who returns on the 15th April 2017
