For every horror movie we see, there are countless that never make it to the big screen, or any screen for that matter. Untold Horror explores the reasons why some horror films never make it out alive.

The multi-part documentary series will document a variety of filmmakers, Hollywood heavyweights and independent legends, and the projects they have spent months, years and decades trying to bring to life. The documentary will delve into what happened to the dozens of announced George A. Romero projects that disappeared, and why passion projects may never make it past the development line.

In Untold Horror, horror Legends George A. Romero (Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead), John Landis (An American Werewolf in London, Twilight Zone: The Movie), Takashi Miike (Ichi the Killer), William Lustig (Maniac), Richard Raaphorst (Frankenstein’s Army), and more, are interviewed about the horror films they never got to make.

The documentary is written and produced by Dave Alexander, the former Editor-in-Chief of the international horror magazine Rue Morgue, alongside Producer and Director Bob Barrett, Producer and Editor Kevin Burke, and line producer Andrea Butler.
