FX has dropped a teaser trailer for Fargo season 3 which gives us our first glimpse at the transformation of handsome Scottish Actor Ewan McGregor, into the pot-bellied, balding Parole Officer Ray Stussy.
In the third installment of Fargo, Ewan McGregor (Trainspotting, Star Wars: The Force Awakens) plays brothers Ray and Emmit. Emmit is described as a self-made real estate mogul, with a family and good looks, however, his younger brother Ray didn’t quite hit the jackpot in life. Ray is the kind of guy who peaked in high school. The parole officer has a chip on his shoulder about the hand he has been dealt and blames his brother Emmit for his misfortunes.
The trailer takes place at the diner where Ray partners with Nikki Swango, played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead (10 Cloverfield Lane). Nikki is described as being a crafty and alluring recent parolee. The pair pay for their meal and walk out the door as soon as Police Officer Gloria Burgle, played by Carrie Coon (Gone Girl), sits at the table across from them. Gloria Burgle is described as being a practical woman and newly divorced mother who struggles to understand this new world around her where people connect more intimately with their phones than the people directly in front of them.
