A trailer has been released for Voice from the Stone, a suspenseful thriller set in 1950s Tuscany that stars Game of Thrones veteran actress Emilia Clarke, known for role as Daenerys Targaryen. The Hitchcockian fairytale is based on the award-winning Italian novel La Voce Della Pietra by Silvio Raff.

Emilia Stone is once again taking on the role as a carer in her new film, much like in her role Me Before You. However, this time around the job seems a touch more frightening.

Voice from the Stone follows a determined young nurse who arrives at the gates of an isolated stone castle in 1950’s Tuscany, to cure the mute heir within. As Verena (Clarke) struggles to bring silent young Jakob back into the world, she finds herself submerged deeper and deeper into the hidden secrets of the castle.

Alongside Emilia Clarke the film stars, Marton Csokas (Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring) as the Voice from the StoneCaterina Murino (Casino Royale), and newcomer Edward Dring.

The film is Directed by Eric D. Howell, produced by Dean Zanuck and Stefano Gallini-Durante, and written by Andrew Shaw.

Voice from the Stone will be available in select theatres and on Demand / digital HD on April 28.
