‘A Dark Song’ trailer reveals the consequences of black magic


A Dark Song

A new trailer has been unveiled by IFC Midnight to promote the upcoming U.S. release of the eerie horror-drama  A Dark Song. The trailer features ancient rituals, a cup full of blood, the washing of transgressions, and a whole lot of unnerving violence.

A Dark Song tells the story of a heart-broken woman and a recluse occultist who team up to perform an ancient dark ritual to bring her child back to life – but missteps have consequences and unknown evils are unleashed.

The Irish feature film made its disturbing premiere at film festivals across the globe and took home the Monster Fest Jury prize for best Cinematography and Best Score, as well as the Fantasporto International Fantasy Film Award for Best Director and Best Actress.

The film is Directed by Liam Gavin and stars Mark Huberman (Frank), Susan Loughnane (Nocturne Passage), Steve Oram (Sightseers) and Catherine Walker (Leap Year).

A Dark Song is set to open in U.S. theatres and video-on-demand on April 28. Check out the trailer below:
