Warner Bros. has released the final trailer for King Arthur: Legend of the Sword just over a month out from the film’s release.
Directed by Guy Ritchie (Snatch) the final trailer for the fantasy adventure brings us back to King Arthur’s childhood, showcases some epic sword scraping battle scenes, and features what appears to be giant elephants.
King Arthur: Legend of the Sword stars Charlie Hunnam (Sons of Anarchy, Pacific Rim), two-time Oscar nominees Jude Law (Cold Mountain, Sherlock Holmes), and Djimon Hounsou (Blood Diamond, Gladiator), alongside, Astrid Bergès-Frisbey (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides), Aidan Gillen (Game of Thrones), and Eric Bana (Hulk, Troy).
When the child Arthur’s father is murdered, Vortigern (Jude Law), Arthur’s uncle, seizes the crown. Robbed of his birthright and with no idea who he truly is, Arthur comes up the hard way in the back alleys of the city. But once he pulls the sword from the stone, his life is turned upside down and he is forced to acknowledge his true legacy…whether he likes it or not.
King Arthur: Legend of the Sword will hit cinemas May 12. Check out the final trailer below:
