The show will reprise the roles of voice actors Carlos Alazraqui as Rocko (Spunky and Leon), Tom Kenny as Heffer (Chuck and Really Really Big Man), Mr. Lawrence as Filburt Turtle, Charlie Adler as Ed and Bev Bighead (Mr. Dupette, Grandpa Wolfe, and Mrs. Fathead), Linda Wallem as Aunt Gretchen and Dr. Hutchinson, Jill Talley as Nosey, and Joe Murray as Ralph. The TV special will be written and executive produced by creator Joe Murray.

Alongside the return of Rocko, Nickelodeon will be bringing back Hey Arnold! promising to answer unsolved plot questions. Titled Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie the TV movie will bring back a host of original cast members. The Network will also bring back Invader Zim with a 90-minute television movie.
