Marvel has unveiled the impressive trailer for Thor: Ragnarok at San Diego Comic-Con, and it is packed full of action, humour and laser guns!
The trailer gives fans a glimpse of Thor’s battle against his former ally, shows off more of the Goddess of Death Hela, played by Cate Blanchett, and introduces Skurge. But, perhaps most importantly, the trailer premieres Hulk’s new found voice. The unforgettable Thor: Ragnarok trailer shows SDCC how it is done, managing to smash the competition and earn itself the top spot on Youtube’s trending.
In the new film, the imprisoned Thor finds himself in a lethal gladiatorial contest against his former ally The Incredible Hulk. Without his hammer, and stuck on the other end of the universe, Thor must a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok, the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilisation, at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela.
The film stars Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Cate Blanchett (Hela), Idris Elba (Heimdall), Jeff Goldblum (Grandmaster), Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie) and Karl Urban (Skurge), with Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner/Hulk) and Anthony Hopkins (Odin).
