Netflix‘s hit television series 13 Reasons Why season two will get some fresh faces, with seven brand new cast members coming on board!
According to Variety, the new cast members include, Anne Winters (Tyrant, The Fosters), Bryce Cass (World Invasion: Battle LA), Chelsea Alden (American Horror Story, Veep), Allison Miller (17 Again), Samantha Logan (Polaroid), Kelli O’Hara (Sex and the City 2) and Ben Lawson (No Strings Attached, Modern Family).
While none of the new cast members are series regulars, they will appear in the majority of the episodes throughout the season.
Introducing the new characters:
Anne Winters: Student, Chloe
23-year old Texas actress Anne Winters will take on the role of Chloe, a beautiful “it girl” and head cheerleader at Liberty High.
Bryce Cass: Student, Cyrus
19-year old actor Bryce Cass will play an edgy, cynical mischief maker named Cyrus, who serves as an unexpected champion of the downtrodden.
Chelsea Alden: Student, Mackenzie
Chelsea Alden will take on the role of Cyrus’ artsy and witty sister Mackenzie, who isn’t afraid to speak her mind.
Samantha Logan: Student, Nina
Samantha Logan will play Nina, a well-respected track star with a secret.
Kelli O’Hara: Jackie
Tony award winning actress Kelli O’Hara will play Jackie, a warm, intelligent and passionate advocate for victims of bullying.
Allison Miller: Sonya
Allison Miller will take on the role of Sonya, a smart and ambitious young litigator.
Ben Lawson: Rick
Aussie actor Ben Lawson will play Rick, the beloved baseball coach at Liberty High.
The second season of 13 Reasons Why will take place in the aftermath of what went down in season one, as the characters journey toward healing.
