A24 has released a trailer for the film The Florida Project directed and penned by Sean Baker (Tangerine).
In the film, Willem Dafoe (Spider-Man) takes on the role of Bobby, a kind manager of the purple painted Orlando motel ‘The Magic Castle’. The impoverished housing complex may be a wonderland of adventure for a precocious six-year-old and her ragtag group of friends, but the adults are struggling with hard times.
Young actresses Brooklynn Prince and Valeria Cotto play poverty stricken children who create their own world of magic, ice cream and make-shift safaris.

The film made its initial premiere during the Cannes 2017 Directors’ Fortnight and has since received outstanding reviews, establishing itself as an Oscar Contender.
A24 is known for Academy Award winning films Moonlight and Room.
