Attention Little Monsters: You are about to see Lady Gaga like you have never seen her before!
Lady Gaga’s Netflix documentary Gaga: Five Foot Two has landed a teaser trailer. The super short 1:18-minute teaser promises emotion, weed, and a behind-the-scenes peek at a pivotal performance. In the clip, we get a glimpse of Gaga as she faces paparazzi, hits the studio, gets a tattoo, and takes a trip to the hospital.
In Gaga: Five Foot Two, the singer unveils her vulnerable side as she allows cameras to document her personal relationships, mental and physical health and intense professional life. The documentary promises to deliver everything from Walmart shopping trips to footage from the Super Bowl Halftime Show.
Gaga: Five Foot Two is directed by Emmy-nominated filmmaker Chris Moukarbel (Banksy Does New York and Me at the Zoo). The documentary is shot in a non-intrusive ‘fly on the wall’ style over an eight-month period. (Which means we will get to see Gaga go about her day without jarring Q&A style interviews or unnatural straight-to-camera shots.) During the filming period, Gaga lets the camera into her life as she, spends time with close friends and family members, records and releases her 2016 album Joanne and, deals with personal struggles.
The film will make its worldwide premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival September 8, before making its way to Netflix September 22.
