Bill Skarsgård who plays the fear eating clown Pennywise in the box office hit ‘IT’ has divulged details about a disturbing scene that never made it to the film.
In a recent chat with Variety’s Playback podcast, Skarsgård revealed details about a horrifying flashback scene that delves into the history of Stephen King’s shape-shifting monster.
The star couldn’t reveal too much about the scene, as there is a chance it will be used in the sequel, but he did reveal that the flashback acted as a sort of origin story for Stephen King’s ‘IT’ character, delving into where Pennywise came from.
In the interview, the star also discussed how he got into character, revealing that he chugged soda water, and worked on a laugh that is, as he describes, half-way between a laugh, a panic attack, and crying.
Since its release, ‘IT’ has been killing it at the box-office and has raked in over $189 million USD.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, we are likely to see the ‘IT’ sequel released in 2019 – hopefully, with the addition of this pant-wetting flashback scene.
