October is finally here, so it is time to prepare yourself for some seriously spooky TV shows!
This month, Stranger Things finally makes its return with a season much darker than the first. October will also bring the premiere of the eerie David Fincher produced series Mindhunter, as well as Amazon’s Lore, which uncovers the real-life events that spawned our darkest nightmares.

Wisdom of the Crowd: Season 1 – CBS
CBS’ drama Wisdom of the Crowd follows a visionary tech innovator who creates a cutting-edge crowdsourcing app to solve his daughter’s murder.
Ghosted: Season 1 – Fox
Fox’s upcoming paranormal comedy follows a cynical sceptic (Craig Robinson), and a genius “true believer” in the paranormal (Adam Scott) who are recruited by a secret government agency to look into unexplained activity in Los Angeles.
Ten Days in the Valley: Season 1 – ABC
ABC’s upcoming drama follows an overworked television producer and single mother, whose daughter goes missing in the night – making her controversial police series implode.
October 2 (2017)
Lucifer: Season 3 – Fox
In the third season of Lucifer, the devilish protagonist will face an identity crisis. After getting his wings back in season 2, Lucifer will be embracing his dark side more than ever. The new season also introduces the charming police lieutenant Marcus Pierce (Tom Welling).
The Gifted: Season 1 – Fox
Fox’s Marvel series, The Gifted, tells the story of a suburban couple whose lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children possess mutant powers. The family are forced to go on the run from a hostile government.

Kevin (Probably) Saves the World: Season 1 – ABC
Kevin Finn (Jason Ritter) is selfish, clueless, and not a good person. He values material wealth and status over all else – but is starting to realise those things are making him miserable. Just when things seem to be at their worst, he finds himself tasked with an unbelievable mission… saving the world.

Scandal: Season 7 – ABC
Scandal returns with its seventh and final season this month. The season will open with Olivia “sitting in the highest seat” as the new White House chief of staff – fighting for what she thinks is best for her country.
Van Helsing: Season 2 – Syfy
In the second season of Van Helsing, Vanessa has found her daughter and is determined to save her and the human race. But new threats from the vampire world could spell humanity’s doom.
Ghost Wars – Syfy
Set in a remote Alaskan town that has been overrun by paranormal forces, the series focuses on local outcast Roman Mercer who must overcome the town’s prejudices and his own personal demons if he’s to harness his repressed psychic powers and save everyone from the mass haunting that’s threatening to destroy them all.

Suburra: Season 1 -Netflix
Suburra takes place in 2008 and follows a gruelling battle overturning a seaside town near Rome into a gambling paradise – exposing criminal rivalries and endemic corruption.
The Death and Life of Marsha P. Johnson – TV Movie – Netflix
The Death and Life of Marsha P. Johnson follows a new investigation into the mysterious death — and lasting political legacy — of self-described “street queen” Marsha P. Johnson, one of the courageous black transgender activists who spearheaded the modern gay civil rights movement.
Once Upon a Time: Season 7 – ABC
In the seventh season of Once Upon a Time, Henry finds himself in a new book with new characters, calling on friends like Captain Hook, and Rumplestiltskin and his mom, the Evil Queen, to join him.

HBO’s documentary film, Spielberg, will pull back the curtain on the remarkable career of a director with a cult following. The documentary will feature exclusive interviews with actors, family and the filmmaker himself.

Supergirl‘s season three appears to be heading down a dark path, as Kara puts an end to her humanity. Who is Supergirl without Kara Danvers?
Valor: Season 1 – The CW
Valor follows an elite unit of U.S. Army helicopter pilots called the Shadow Raiders who are sent on a top-secret mission that goes terribly awry. Only two members of the team return safely: Warrant Officer Nora Madani and her commanding officer, Captain Leland Gallo. Nora and Gallo grow closer and soon find themselves torn between duty, honour and desire.
October 10 (2017)
The Flash: Season 4 – The CW
After sacrificing himself to the speed force prison in order to save his friends, family and the rest of humanity, Barry Allen is back home – but he is looking a little dead behind the eyes. Once again, there is no time to rest because havoc is spreading across Central City. Luckily, Barry is faster than ever donning a brand-new custom Cisco-built suit as he prepares for an epic battle against the show’s first non-speedster big-bad.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow: Season 3 – The CW
After the defeat of Eobard Thawne and his equally nefarious Legion of Doom, the Legends face a new threat created by their actions at the end of last season. In revisiting a moment in time that they had already participated in, they have fractured the timeline and created anachronisms – a scattering of people, animals, and objects all across time. The team must find a way to return all the anachronisms to their original timelines before the time stream falls apart.

Chance: Season 2 – Hulu
Eldon Chance (Laurie), the paper pushing neuropsychiatrist has given way to a different kind of pusher: a man willing to push back at the broken system. When he is coerced into helping Detective Hynes take down a serial killer, Chance finds himself “laying in the nest” of the killer, in a dangerous game to prove the man guilty. His reckless behaviour also puts him at odds with D (Suplee), who has begun to question the black-and-white nature of his own vigilantism. When the walls of the system collapse in on him, Chance is forced to reassess his life’s work and questions if violence is really the answer.
Riverdale: Season 2 – The CW
Following the dramatic events that took place in season one, the second season of Riverdale will focus on the mystery behind who shot Fred Andrew. In the second season, Veronica will receive a visit from a love interest from her past, Riverdale‘s newest character Toni Topaz could get in the way of the romance between Jughead and Betty as she guides Jughead into the serpent world, and the events of season one weigh down on the once high-spirited Archie.
Dynasty: Season 1 – The CW
The CW’s modern take on the 80s soap Dynasty, follows two of America’s wealthiest families, the Carringtons and the Colbys, as they feud for control over their fortune and their children. The series will be told primarily through the perspectives of two women at odds: Fallon Carrington — daughter of billionaire Blake Carrington — and her soon-to-be stepmother, Cristal — a Hispanic woman marrying into this WASP family and America’s most powerful class. In an age where dynasties appear everywhere — from reality TV to the polling booths — this epic drama features the one percent in all its glitz and gloss, while exposing the dark underbelly: a corrupt world built on backroom deals, betrayal, and, in some cases, murder.
Mr. Robot: Season 3 – USA
Season three of Mr. Robot picks up where it left off. The season will be all about Elliot trying to bounce back and fight against the people who have been using him.
The Shannara Chronicles: Season 2 – Spike
One year after the events of the last season of The Shannara Chronicles; The Four Lands are in chaos – the re-emergence of magic has the populace terrified, and an organization called The Crimson is hunting down magic users.

Supernatural: Season 13 – The CW
Supernatural’s 13th season will answer fan’s long-awaited questions about the events that took place in season 12 and the fate of Castiel. The season will feature an animated crossover episode with Scooby-Doo and a backdoor pilot to the possible spin-off series ‘Wayward Sisters’.
Arrow: Season 6 – The CW
After a violent shipwreck, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) was missing and presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island in the North China Sea. He returned home to Star City, bent on righting the wrongs done by his family and fighting injustice. As the Green Arrow, he protects his city with the help of former soldier John Diggle (David Ramsey), computer-science expert Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards), his vigilante-trained sister Thea Queen (Willa Holland), Deputy Mayor Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne), brilliant inventor Curtis Holt (Echo Kellum), and his new recruits, street-savvy Rene Ramirez (Rick Gonzalez) and meta-human Dinah Drake (Juliana Harkavy). Oliver has finally solidified and strengthened his crime-fighting team only to have it threatened when unexpected enemies from his past return to Star City, forcing Oliver to rethink his relationship with each member of his “family”.

Based on the novella by Stephen King, Netflix’s 1992 follows a simple yet proud rancher who conspires to murder his wife for financial gain, convincing his teenage son to participate.
Red Oaks: Season 3 – Amazon
In the final season of Amazon’s Red Oaks, David and Wheeler (Oliver Cooper) will be living together in New York City. The majority of the season will take place in the Big Apple instead of the New Jersey country club.
Wheelman – TV Movie – Netflix
