If you love Stranger Things and Twin Peaks, It is time to watch the trailer for Netflix’s atmospheric series ‘Dark’.
Dark is set in a small German town in the present day, where the disappearances of two young children expose the double lives and fractured relationships of four families. The show takes on a supernatural twist that ties back to the same town in the year 1986.
While the trailer doesn’t give away too much, it does show off some eerie woods, what appears to be a power plant, a field full of dead sheep, clocks, and what appears to be a torture room from another time.
“The question is not where. The question is not who. The question is not how. But when.”
The series will feature ten hour-long subtitled episodes, helmed by award-winning showrunners Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese, who received critical acclaim for their 2014 film Who am I.
Dark originally premiered at the 2017 Toronto International Film Festival. All ten episodes will make their way to Netflix Dec 1.
