El Camino Christmas follows a group of people who get stuck in a liquor store on Christmas Eve during an alleged robbery, only to form an unexpected bond.

If you haven’t already seen it, this cutesy 2011 film follows Santa’s clumsy son Arthur who gets put on a mission with St. Nick’s father to deliver a present they misplaced – but they only have two hours to do it.

3. A Christmas Prince – Netflix Original – Available to stream now

Sure, A Christmas Prince is a cliché Christmas romance… but let’s be honest, you’ll watch it anyway.

The film follows a reporter who goes undercover as a tutor to get the inside scoop on a playboy prince, but ends up falling in love.

4. The Spirit of Christmas – Available to stream now

The Spirit of Christmas is a romantic mystery about a workaholic lawyer named Kate, who has three weeks to get a haunted bed and breakfast appraised and sold.

5. Christmas with the Kranks – Available to stream now

It is time to re-watch this Christmas classic.

In case you have forgotten, Christmas with the Kranks follows two parents who decide to skip Christmas (despite their protesting neighbours) because their daughter has gone away for the festive season. But when she decides to come home, the Kranks stir up an uproar as they rush to celebrate the holiday last minute.

6. Bad Santa – Available to stream now

If you are looking for a boozier Christmas, Bad Santa might be the festive film for you.

Bad Santa follows a miserable conman acting as a mall Santa and his partner Little Helper. The pair rob department stores on Christmas Eve, but run into problems when the conman befriends a troubled kid, and the security boss discovers their plot.

7. A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas – Available to stream now

Speaking of naughty Christmases, how about spending the festive season with Harold and Kumar?

This stoner flick takes place six years after Harold and Kumar’s Guantanamo Bay adventure. The two weed-loving buds turn the holiday upside by inadvertently burning down Harold’s father-in-law’s prize Christmas tree.

8. A Very Murray Christmas – Netflix Original – Available to stream now

This star-studded Christmas musical features the likes of Bill MurrayMichael CeraGeorge ClooneyMiley CyrusAmy Poehler, and Chris Rock

In the film, Murray plays himself, trying to avoid a Hollywood figure who wants to represent the actor, who famously forgoes having a manager or agent. And somewhere in there will be rooms for Christmas carols to be sung by the actors and probably more bits and pieces of holiday cheer.

If you want to harness your inner child this Christmas, Netflix will take you back to the late 90s with Mickey Mouse and the gang in this festive classic.

10. Angel of Christmas – Available to stream now

If you are looking for a supernatural romance featuring magical family heirlooms, Angel of Christmas might be the film for you.

Angel of Christmas follows a newspaper journalist named Susan who sets out to write an article about her family’s mystical heirloom a Christmas Angel. The heirloom leads her to accidentally meet Brady an upbeat artist who whisks Susan into a holiday friendship and romance. But their love might not be coincidental because legend has it the heirloom includes a power that brings two people together.

Starring Danny DeVito and Matthew Broderick this classic Christmas comedy follows a man’s desperate mission to decorate his house so bright that it can be seen from space.

 12. Dear Santa – Available to stream now

If a feelgood Lifetime film is what you are after, check out this romantic drama starring Amy Acker

In Dear Santa, a lonely woman named Crystal discovers a letter from a little girl asking Santa to send her dad a new wife for Christmas. Crystal decides to seek the pair out in the hopes of making herself their gift from Santa.

1. Love Actually – Available to stream now

It is time to re-watch this star-studded, Golden Globe-winning, Christmas favourite.

If for some reason you haven’t yet watched it yet, Love Actually is set a month before Christmas and follows the lives of eight different couples in London.

The film stars Colin Firth, Hugh GrantLiam NeesonMartin FreemanKeira Knightley, Emma Thompson and Sienna Guillory.

This Will Ferrell festive comedy sees a baby human accidentally stow away in Santa’s present sack. Raised as an over-sized elf at the North Pole, this human receives a shock when he learns his true identity and is sent back to the U.S. to find the family he never knew.

3. Four Holidays – Available to stream now

Four Holidays is a Christmas comedy that stars Academy Award winner Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn as a family-avoiding San Francisco couple.

In the film, Kate and Brad have no choice but to put their vacation plans on halt to visit their families, a task they have happily avoided..until now. The couple are forced to attend four family-centric get-togethers as their childhood fears are raised.

Will their relationship be able to withstand their arduous families?

4. The Family Man – Available to stream now

Starring Nicolas Cage, this fantasy comedy sees a fast-lane investment broker get a second chance.

With the help of some un-asked for magic, the workaholic discovers what his life would have been like if he stayed with his ex-girlfriend. He wakes up to a shock when he discovers he has a wife, kids and a mini-van instead of a sports car.
