The Deadpool 2 teaser ‘No Good Deed‘, which was originally revealed during screenings of Logan, has finally landed online in watchable quality courtesy of Ryan Reynolds‘ Youtube account. In case you weren’t intrigued enough, it features a phone booth, two-cheeks, a cameo from comic legend Stan Lee, an unusual way to dine on ice-cream (where the chimichangas at?), and of course plenty of Jabs at Aussie Actor Hugh Jackman‘s Wolverine.
While the teaser doesn’t actually feature footage from the upcoming film Deadpool 2, it does give us a brief glimpse of what we can expect from Director David Leitch. It was announced that Leitch would be taking over the role of the original film’s Director Tim Miller in November last year, following Miller’s departure from the project due to ‘creative differences’.
While Fox tried to keep the highly anticipated teaser under wraps, the news of the pre-Logan appearance was broken by Slashfilm, and eventually made its way online via shoddy smartphone footage. Finally, Fox decided to grace us all with a high-quality online version of the teaser.
Writer Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese (Zombieland) will return to pen the Deadpool 2 script, alongside Drew Goddard (The Martian, Daredevil), and Comic Book creators Rob Liefeld and Fabian Nicieza.
Deadpool 2 is expected to release March 2, 2018.
According to the highly trusted description on Ryan Reynolds‘ account, the sequel’s plot is as follows: ‘Wade and the other girls from the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants plan a trip to Cabot Cove.’
