Over the past few weeks FX has been teasing fans with some brilliantly executed, but nonsensical teaser trailers for Fargo season 3. Now, with only a month until its release, we have finally been given a glimpse at what we can expect from the characters in the new season.
The newest teaser gives us a sneak peak at Ewan McGregor playing brothers Emmit Stussy, a handsome, self-made real estate mogul and family man, and Ray Stussy a parole officer who blames his brother for his misfortunes. We also get a glimpse of Carrie Coon as small-town sheriff Gloria Burgle, Michael Stuhlbarg as Sy Feltz the right-hand man to Emmit Stussy, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Nikki Swango the crafty and alluring recent parolee, and David Thewlis as V.M. Vargas a mysterious loner and true capitalist.
Fargo season 3 is set in 2010 making it the most contemporary season. The first season of the popular television series was set in 2006, and the second in 1979.
Fargo season 3 will be heading back to the small-screen April 19.
